我沒有仔細瞭解標語背景,若其發布之時產品已推出,的確不合適。不過我個人認為,若蘋果尚未推出該產品,用這則標語只是意在造勢,那沒什麼問題。
「蛻變」一詞是否晦澀,大家意見可能有分歧。可以肯定的是這個詞絕不像「駕車」、「登台」一樣平常。雖然如此,讀過初中的人應該都知道這個詞的意思。

By itself, it sounds a little surreptitious to me.
IMO, bad corporate image, hardly something a reputable company wants to portray.

At the risk of sounding repetitious, this is not a "no fuss, no muss" campaign. It is done with a lot of fanfare. IMO, the tone of the slogan in Chinese is all wrong, on top of the phrasing and style having little literary merit.

是的。這個刺挑得對。我沒細查標語背景。:(

第 二 關: air as in ”light as air" - "輕盈" - 正如其英文廣告所言:“So capable, you won’t want to put it down. So thin and light, you won’t have to.” (18% thinner and 6.1 mm thin and 0.96 pound)
Speaking of this sentence, “So capable, you won’t want to put it down. So thin and light, you won’t have to”, I like the Hong Kong version best. Let’s see the three different Chinese versions for the respective regions:
Mainland China: 多才多能,让你不想放手;又轻又薄,让你不觉在手。
Taiwan: 多才多藝,讓你捨不得放。好輕好薄,根本不需放。
Hong Kong: 多才多藝,讓你愛不釋手;又薄又輕,根本不需離手。
I believe the translator of the Hong Kong version deliberately changed the word order of 又轻又薄 into 又薄又輕 so that the readers wouldn’t intuitively associate the phrase 又轻又薄 with a derogatory term 轻薄. He paid his attention to details.
I am so glad that no one translated “So thin and light” into “如此輕薄”!

Steve,
I agree. “多才多艺, 多才多能” 倒不如改为“功能如此完善”、“功能如此奇妙”之类的说法。例如,“功能如此奇妙,讓你愛不釋手”。

Steve,
Yes, I agree. When I said "Speaking of this sentence, ..., I like the Hong Kong version best", it was just based on a comparison among the three translated sentences indicated. The Hong Kong version also has lots of room for improvement.

ysun United States Local time: 14:22 English to Chinese + ...
