Bilingual Revision & QA | Child Development, Trauma & Resilience | EN > PT-PT Completed an extensive bilingual revision and quality assurance project of approximately 20,000 words in the fields of child development, developmental psychology, neuroscience, attachment, trauma and resilience. The assignment involved detailed source-target comparison, terminology research and harmonization, correction of semantic and linguistic issues, removal of untranslated or partially translated content, improvement of idiomatic European Portuguese, and comprehensive final QA. Particular attention was given to specialized terminology related to attachment theory, neuroplasticity, adverse childhood experiences (ACEs), intergenerational trauma, trauma-informed approaches, caregiver-child relationships, self-regulation and resilience. The final stage included document-wide terminology and consistency checks, cross-checking chapter titles and the table of contents, bibliographical verification, and targeted QA searches for residual source-language content and linguistic inconsistencies.
