I know we've had "Fibulaköpfchen" before, but I am getting very confused with the "ventral" bit - I thought there is only one Fibulaköpfchen, so where does the ventral come from? Or is it "anterior"? Does that make any more sense? Help!!!
The context: this is the Swiss report of an MRI of the knee. Under "femorotibial" the findings are:
Kein Knorpelschaden. .... Umschriebenes Ödem am ventralen Fibulaköpfchen". Tibiofibulares Gelenk sonst unauffällig.
