Ésta es una pregunta dirigida a los colegas cubanos: en una conversación por correo electrónico sobre los trámites para presentación de patentes en Cuba el agente me dice que la traducción no tiene qué estar certificada, sólo requiere la declaración jurada y "debidamente acuñada". No entiendo el término. ¿Serían tan amables de explicarme a qué se refieren con "acuñada"?

Es el sello. The stamp. Lo que no queda claro es si se refieren a que el traductor tiene un sello o se refieren a una declaración jurada ante notario. Yo me inclinaría por lo último.

Muy amable Luisa por tu respuesta. Creo que también se refiere a que una vez certificada por el perito traductor hay que presentarse ante notario. Sigo indagando. Muchas gracias otra vez.

Dice mi esposo, que es como quien dice un "recién llegado" (3 años), que acuñado quiere decir jurado ante notario y con el cuño/sello del notario. Y yo estoy de acuerdo.

Hola, Pablo. La respuesta es tal y como dice Luisa:
Lo de ''acuñado'' es un error que cometen muchas personas por aquí. Quiere decir ''ponerle el cuño'' y tiene que ser ante notario. Saludos a los dos. Indiana.
