Here is a sign from a Ship in Kowloon Harbour do you know what the Sign on it says in English!

I think the sign might say either "華信石油" or "華勝石油" ("Hua Xin Petroleum" or "Hua Sheng Petroleum")
The 2nd character is hard to make out. It looks to me to be either "勝" (victory) or "信" (credibility). In case of it being the latter, it was painted in quite an artistic manner, similar to the way the same character was drawn in the following pictograph:
Anyway, the 1st character "華" means "China/Chinese". The last two characters "石油" mean "Petroleum".
As for the name of the vessel, there's just no way to make out the four white-on-red characters at the end of the vessel.

My reading is “华明石油”。In English, it could be something like Huaming Petroleum. There is actually a petroleum company in Hong Kong called 华明石油有限公司.
It could be 华润石油 too, like PKchan said. But as far as I know, the shortened form of ”华润石油化工有限公司“ is ”华润石化“, instead of ”华润石油".

Lo and behold, I found this YouTube ad by "華潤石油" that supports what pk was suggesting.

"華明石油" is also a good possibility. But looking at the original photo (not the zoomed-in view), the 2nd character does indeed look more like "潤" than anything else.

Indeed. You can also see the logo on the propane tanks at time 0:09 of that youTube clip I provided.
It makes sense now. The symbol in front of the sign "華潤石油" in the photo must be this exact logo.

As yet though I have not been able to come up with the name of the Ship!
I am still researching it and have sent Emails to to the Companies that are mentioned,in the hope something may just come back??
