However, given that I live in Brasil, every payment method bites its (not so) fair share. There's no way to run.

Whichever method does not require me to pay to receive my pay. The client should pay transfer costs.

If the client resides within the EU I, of course, prefer a bank transfer. If the customer is located in any other part of the globe, I prefer PayPal, even more so because I have both EUR and USD accounts, thus saving the conversion fee.
