• Application sharing throughout the home. (The same as in the supplied text)
A Recorder, (Recording is incorrect as a recording is not a piece of equipment, it is a media like a CD, DVD Disc, card or a Tape) cannot provide multi-room capabilities unless it is connected to a Router

: I don't think it's "router" - probably "recorder" (by the way, the question wasn't (mainly) about DVR but (mainly) about HM).

Thanks, but in all searches there are no Recorders which have multi room capabilties, Which part of my answer is incorrect with HM ?
