German term

undulatorisch

German to English Medical Medical: Cardiology Pädiatrie, CTG
Findings from a CTG:
Baseline 150bpm, undulatorisch, sporadische Akzelerationen, keine Dezelerationen, regelrechte Kindsbewegungen, unauffälliges Tokogramm,

On https://www.amboss.com/de/wissen/Kardiotokografie_(CTG)/ I have found that "undulatorisch" is out of date, but I haven't really found whether there is an equivalent English term. The TM translates it with "undulatory", but I haven't found this anywhere in connection with CTG.

I am at a loss, would greatly appreciate your insights!

My understanding is that a wave can be undulating without being sinusoidal, i.e. sine-wave-like. So I am not sure if these two are interchangeable here.
Example sentence:

A sinusoidal fetal heart rate pattern is defined as a visually apparent, smooth, sine-wave-like undulating pattern in FHR baseline with a cycle frequency of 3 to 5 per minute that persists for 20 minutes or more.

Note from asker:
Thanks, Jakub, so maybe "undulating" is out of date and "sinusoidal" would be the more current expression?
OK, so "undulating" to be on the safe side! Thank you so much!
