Dies ist von einem Artikel über die Behandlung der palmoplantaren Pustulose. Der ganze Satz lautet:

Die gängigen Therapien beinhalten indifferente und differente Topika, die auch bei der Psoriasis vulgaris verwendet werden,....

Bei https://www.springermedizin.de/emedpedia/braun-falcos-dermat... habe ich die Definition von indifferent und different in diesem Zusammenhang gefunden (indifferent: Therapie mit dermatologischen Grundlagen; different: Einsatz von Arzneistoffen in Grundlagen), aber ich kann kein englisches Äquivalent finden.

Any ideas, anyone? Wie immer, sehr dankbar für Eure Hilfe!

Sorry, h#tte das klarer machen sollen: es geht mir um "indifferent" und "different" in diesem Zusammenhang. Daniels Erklärung ist sehr hilfreich.

Geht es dir ... ... nur um "indifferent" und "different" oder auch um die Topika? Letztere sind topisch wirkende Präparate ("topical drugs/medications"). Siehe z. B. https://www.webmd.com/skin-problems-and-treatments/psoriasis...

See links and check Google, "indifferente Topika" is self-explanatory and there are countless references for "indifferent ointments" and "indifferent topical ...". The "differente" is a bit trickier, it means a topical pharmaceutical with an active ingredient, in the EU also called "active substance", but I like "ingredient" better and there are also plenty of references supporting that.
