cubic centimetre

The only information I have is from the Russian-English Science & Engineering Dictionary (Carpovich) - it says ЛХВЙЛ is colloquially one cubic cm.

And in the Oxford Rus-Eng too. It\'s colloquial.

milliliter (ml)

кубик = кубический сантиметр = миллилитр

Медики указывают объем шприцев и вводимых растворов обычно в миллилитрах.

Примеры надергала из той книги, что сейчас перевожу:

...to inject I ¶ml of 1% lidocaine (Xylocaine) into the cervix before attaching the tenaculum and to inject 5 ¶ml into each paracervical area..

...with an ¶injection of 1 to 2 ¶mL of normal saline (sterile but nonbacteriostatic) through a 20- to 22-gauge needle...

А это цитата из энц. медицинского словаря Тейбера:

liter
[Fr. litre, liter]
Metric fluid measure; equivalent to 1000 ml, 270 fl drams, 61 cu in., 33.8 fl oz, or 1.0567 qt.
The volume occupied by 1 kg of water at 4°C and 760 mm Hg pressure.
SEE: metric system
Note (!!!)
It is common to define a liter as 1000 cc. This is almost but not quite correct because 1 ml is equal to 1.000028 cc. Thus, ***liquid volume should be expressed in milliliters rather than in cubic centimeters***.
