the temperature in the dam will be
changed, and the seasonal variation will
in crease. This variation is dependent on
see page fl ow, the seasonal variation at the
inflow boundary, and the distance from
the boundary to the measuring point. Temperature
measurements can thus detect
seepage flow changes, which may be associated
with internal erosion.
