stridor

Так и пишут обычно, никогда не делая из него прилагательного.

¶stridor
[L., a harsh sound]
A high-pitched, harsh sound heard during respiration.
It resembles the blowing of wind due to obstruction of the upper airway.

A doctor first asks the person about symptoms. Chest pain, shortness of breath (dyspnea), cough, coughing up of blood (hemoptysis), wheezing, and a crowing sound while breathing (stridor) suggest lung or airway disease. Other, more general symptoms, such as fever, weakness, fatigue, and a general feeling of illness or discomfort (malaise), may also point to lung or airway disease.

The newborn often is found to have some stridor or inspiratory crowing which may be intermittent or persistent, sometimes aggrevated when crying. The infant with respiratory illness may also have either inspiratory or expiratory noise during breathing. Of course, children with acute bronchiolitis or asthma often have expiratory wheezing during the acute phase. Sometimes, the onset of respiratory noise may be sudden. In the toddler, the question of aspiration of foreign body is always a consideration when there is respiratory noise of an acute onset, either wheezing or stridor.

Inspiratory crowing may be more correct, medically speaking.
