During the last year or two, the number of incoming Word (.docx) documents causing the dreaded "Failed to save target content" error message in Studio has increased significantly for me. Is it just me or a general trend?

Maybe you should prepare file for translation properly. Try rerunning it from scratch using the existing TM? I did encounter various bugs, sometimes I just ignore the error prompt and click cancel and it still works out eventually.
Just some general observations, sorry I don’t have anything specific for your issue.

OCR-ed files

Hi,
It happens to me often when I get OCR-ed files from an agency. My solution is always to save such a file in RTF format first and only then start translating.
