nowinek dietetycznych. Jej treść to wiedza wynikająca z moich dziesięcioletnich doświadczeń. Swoje dociekania i analizę oparłam na prastarej filozofii Wschodu, ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem medycyny chińskiej, której podstawą są prawa Natury, Kosmosu, Wszechświata, porządkujące nasze życie oraz otaczającą nas przyrodę. Przez stulecia prawa te były w ogromnym posza nowaniu wśród wielu ludów i cywilizacji. Ojciec medycyny, Hipokrates, wyznawał zasadę nieszkodzenia choremu i pomagania uzdrawiającym siłom natury.
Translation - English I would like to dedicate this book to all of those who strive for a peaceful,
healthy and harmonious life, and who, at the same time, experience anxiety
on and off caused by their powerlessness against the enormity of suffering and
disease.
In this book you will not find any of those popular, but unverified, Western dietary novelties. The content of this book is based entirely on my personal
knowledge and years of experience, which I gained through a thorough study
and examination of the ancient philosophy of the East. I looked particularly
carefully into Chinese medicine, which is established in relation to the universal
laws of Nature and the Cosmos and which can bring order in life and all its
aspects. Throughout the centuries, many societies and civilizations have learnt
to respect and live by these rules. Hippocrates, commonly referred to as the
‘Father of Medicine’, believed that one should do no harm but seek help in
the healing powers of Nature. The Hippocratic Oath, which has become the
foundation for good medical practice and morals, contains a very important
statement. It says that every doctor, as a matter of obligation to their profession, should always pursue and expand their knowledge so that it may be of benefit to the sick. In his medical studies, Hippocrates dedicated much attention to the
importance of a healthy diet and the nature of the food we eat. He is the author
of a famous saying: ‘Let food be thy medicine and medicine be thy food’ and 'food can bring you health, but it can also kill’.
