Ausgangstext - Spanisch XXX, desde pequeña comenzó a mostrar su gran personalidad y entrega a la vida al sobreponerse a la poliomielitis que la acogió a los 6 años de edad. Luchó no solo por su vida, sino por su integridad emocional al tener que convivir con las secuelas físicas que esta enfermedad le dejó.
Decidida a estudiar medicina y gracias a los cambios sociales en México, XXX ingresó a la Preparatoria Nacional de México, en la primera generación de 35 mujeres de esta institución. Estando ahí, XXX se unió a un grupo conocido como “Los Cachuchas”; con quienes XXX dio rienda suelta a su espíritu rebelde. El líder de “Los Cachuchas” era XXX, quien pronto se convirtió en el primer amor de XXX.
Fue con XXX con quien viajaba, el 17 de septiembre de 1925, en el camión cuando este se impactó contra un tranvía. El accidente fue devastador y dejó a XXX al borde de la muerte. Sin embargo, XXX se recuperó después de varios meses en cama. Durante su tiempo de convalecencia, XXX aprendió a convivir con el aburrimiento que implicaba estar prácticamente inmovilizada con un corsé en cama, de esta manera, comenzó a pintar con las acuarelas de su padre XXX, primero decorando sus corsés o pequeños lienzos, hasta que su madre XXX mandó fabricar un caballete especial para que pudiera pintar acostada y colocó un espejo sobre el cielo raso de su cama.
Siendo hija de un gran fotógrafo, como lo fue XXX, XXX desde pequeña aprendió a tener una comunicación muy particular con la cámara, así traspoló esta gran habilidad a un nuevo lente, el espejo en el que ella se reflejaba. Adquirió la habilidad de expresar su mundo interno, sus sentimientos, emociones y pensamientos más profundos a través de su pintura como si fuera una fiel fotografía. En sus propias palabras:

During her recovery time, XXX learned to coexist with the boredom that involved the fact of being practically prevented from moving within a corset in bed. She started to paint with the watercolors of her father XXX. XXX first decorated her corsets or small canvas until her mother XXX had a special easel manufactured for her to be able to paint lied down and also placed a mirror on the ceiling of her bed.
Being the daughter of a great photographer as XXX, XXX learned to communicate in a very peculiar way with the camera since she was little. In this manner she transferred this great skill to a new lens, the mirror in which she reflected. She gained the skill to express her inner world, her deepest feelings, emotions and thoughts through her painting as if she was a faithful photographer. In her own words:
