Hello everybody this is a text about coffee - I don't get the meaning of "in atmosfera" - it is the opposite of "vacuum packed"?

In any case "in atmosphere" doesn't mean anything by itself in this context.

I think MAP is used a lot in packaging jargon but here it depends on the readership it is for and the general intention. If the purpose is to describe their product to consumers then you would need to write it out in dull.

In my experience I heard a lot about MAP. I do not think you can use "atmophere" just like that or the reader will think about an ambiance or a mood.

Yes, it's coffee bags! Sorry I didn't point it out. My doubt is, can I use "atmosphere packaging" in English without "controlled" or "modified"? Is it "normal" in Italian to just have "in atmosfera" instead of "in atmosfera controllata/modificata"? In English I keep finding references with "controlled" or "modified" but not with "atmosphere" alone.
