Indonesian term

Selamat jalan

Indonesian to English Other Furniture / Household Appliances
I've got this expression in a document abt buying furniture in Indonesia. It is in fact a Dutch doc but as there are only 2 translators in Indonesian/Dutch, I also ask the question here. Even Indonesian/French would suit me, as French is the target language of my document.

agree Catherine Muir : However, used only when someone is leaving for a long time or permanently. Said by the person staying. The person leaving replies, "Selamat tinggal."

have a safe trip / bon voyage

If the context is sending someone off to buy furniture in Indonesia or a buyer returning home from Indonesia they may well mean

Have a safe trip / safe home or bon voyage

selamat ~ safe
