This is a substantial resource which surely calls for...

Just playing with it a little..

You also have to deal with the the typically French stylistic thing of beginning a sentence with 'un gisement important qui plaide...', which wouldn't make sense in English translated literally. I've inserted a little 'this is' at the beginning; but you could join it on to the sentence before it with a semi-colon or something.

Hope any of this helps.

I don\'t mean \'wouldn\'t make sense\', I mean \'wouldn\'t be grammatically correct\'.

I\'ve also typed \'the\' twice. What an idiot.

You could also say \'potential resource\' or \'untapped resource\' or even \'unmined resource\'.

Peer comment(s):

agree Patrice : Yes, really the meaning is potential resource or untapped resource

agree Gayle Wallimann : Untapped resource, potential. Good points, Charlotte.
