I am sure that I am probably 'telling granny how to suck eggs...' but I have just read an interesting book published by Osborne titled 'How to Do Everything with Google'- ISBN 0-07-223174-2

It is written by Google employees and is 345 pages of how to refine your searches using advanced operators etc. I would recommend getting a copy from the library if you are not already familiar with Google's more advanced functions.
