This thread is part of the Translator playground: a place for translators to have fun, to network, to learn, and to hone their translation or linguistic skills. See the announcement here.

Need a quick break from work? In this area translators and language professionals can play games and share material which do not fit in other categories within the Translator playground.

I've just come across this site on PetPeeves (I pick #1 and #4, btw) and I thought it would be fun to know what are the pet peeves in the life of a freelance translator/interpreter.

So... what are your translation-related pet peeves? You may illustrate your post too!
