As a native Chinese living in China, I do not take the assignments which attack my own country. Somebody else may like to translate it, then let them do it.
Hello, Golden View
1. I do not think penial enlargement pill should be considered as porno. However, to select the Chinese men as a targeted consumer group sounds brutal and humiliating to me. Legal or not, it should be decided by the laws and regulations of the country or area where this product is sold.
2. When a job contains the materials, such as erotic, porno, political, or sensitive subjects, the translator should have the ability to judge by him/herself if such translation is helping or damaging the society where the targeted readers are located, then decide to take or reject the job.
3. I am very impressed by reading your line \"As a native Chinese living in China, I do not take the assignments which attack my own country.\" I totally agree. Attacking is not a solution for solving problems, and can only cause the resistance to change.
