解决“……due to unknown exception”一法

照例，先说结论：如碰到用Trados（特指07版）Tagedtior打开PPT时报“80005：……due to unknown exception”的错误时，可先考虑把PPT另存为更高版本（如有）。

接下来说详情。

软件环境：Win7+Office 2007、Trados 2007（下同）。

问题：在用Trados的agedtior打开PPT（2003版，文件扩展名为ppt）文档（70张幻灯页）时报错。原先以为是由于文档过大，删除多页幻灯文件后的确可打开，但毕竟麻烦。

最后灵光一闪：何不另存为其他版本看看？因为装了PPT 2007，因此毫不费力地把*.ppt save as *.pptx。注：另存时系统提示什么VBA格式丢失云云（不懂故没细看），不理它，存之！

结果搞定。

思路：有时候高版本的文档的确跟较低版本的Trados不太兼容，但在这个问题里，恰恰是低版本的PPT与同样低版本的Trados不太兼容。

当时也是像你这样做：另存为较高的版本，当时是存为2003版。

我把98版的ppt另存为2000或2003版的PPT，就能用TagEditor了。跟你的办法是一样的。
