Nesrin United Kingdom Local time: 05:19 English to Arabic + ...

Hi all,
I just have a small query I hope you can help me with. An English-language paper I want to cite was jointly written by "YU Yuan and LI Wan-jun". The capitalization of what appear to be the first names puzzles me. Could you please confirm if YU/LI and Yuan/Wan-jun are first names or surnames, if it is obvious to you?
Thank you very much!
Nesrin

YU and LI are surnames

In China, including Taiwan, surname usually comes first. Wan-jun is definitely a first name.
