Greetings, my first post here.
So after years of fumbling around, I've decided to put my language skill (Chinese-Spanish) to good use. Now I've been contacted by two agencies in Shanghai, who are both requesting a quote. Having never been to Mainland China before (I'm from Taiwan, & currently reside in the US), I have NO CLUE whatsoever of the market price for said language pair in Shanghai. So how much should I quote them?
Any assistance will be appreciated.

Henry

You should ask as much as you can. And why not look on the Internet for the going rates?
However, in these difficult economic times, you will find that prices are severely under pressure, so perhaps one can't even speak of going rates anymore.

Is there really a market for Spanish-Chinese translations?
