最近在做一本书的翻译，是有关大众传媒方面的。看到一句话，能猜出大概的意思，但准确的翻译还没想出来，请大家帮帮手：

the scores/values soared to a very high level (ie off the measurement charts) Jun 5, 2009

IMO, 'blew the sixteen-year-olds off the graphs' = sent the scores of the sixteen-year-olds off the top of the charts (ie made the scores soar to a very high level)
