هلا حسام
شيء طيب أن تتحلى الحلال والحرام في عملك

ولكن أعتقد أن أهل الذكر هم الذين يجب أن يجيبوا على هذا السؤال، وأهل الذكر هم علماء الدين الثقة. فأنا أرى أنه يتعين عليك أن توجه هذا السؤال لعالم دين تثق فيه لكي يفتيك في هذا الأمر

السلام عليكم اخى الكريم
اود ان اشكرك على طرح هذا السؤال وفي معرفتى المتواضعة أنه بعملك في ترجمة مثل هذه المشاريع التى تدعو إلى عبادة غير الله الواحد الحق فإنك تساعد على نشرها وبالتالى تساعد على توجيه الناس إلى مثل هذا الاتجاه فباعتقادى أن هذا العمل يشوبه نوع من الحرمانية فنحن علينا واجب تجاه ديننا الحنيف وهو نشره وليس نشر ما يخالفه...اعانك الله على فعل الخير

... أعتقد أن المترجم العربي المسيحي يمكن أن يكون على دراية أكبر بالمصطلحات المستخدمة في النصوص المسيحية العربية، وسيكون أقدر على ترجمة مثل هذه النصوص - والله أعلم.
أما بالنسبة لسؤالك فأتفق مع رأي وليد، والأمر يعود لك في النهاية.

أرى أنه من غير اللائق ومن المنافي لقواعد النقاش على هذا الموقع إبداء الآراء الشخصية في معتقدات الغير (ناهيك عن أنك تتكلم هنا عن احدى الأديان السماوية!!)

Don't forget that there was a period in Islamic history where muslims and non-muslims were engaged in translating greek philosophy into Arabic. Knowledge knows no bounds or limits. If a translation is done for purely academic purposes, I see no limit to what can and cannot be translated. Personal discernment will ultimately be the judge as to whether a translation could be used for right or wrong purposes, and one has to act according to one's set of values in life.
