What translation project are you working on right now?
Working on an ongoing project translating online classes created during the COVID-19 pandemic. Way to turn a difficult situation into something good that will benefit many now and in the future! So excited to be working on children's Bible stories! It's been a life-long dream to work in Christian materials. Fun and fulfilling! 
YES! I too have had my share of COVID-19 related materials. Internal protocols and guidelines for an NGO and plenty of corona-related videos for different clients. ALWAYS thankful for work, specially at this time!  A fantastic project for a whole curriculum in Social and Emotional Learning. I'm so excited!! Subtitling corporate videos, transition to renewable energies. Subtitling internal product videos for the giant supermarket chain Walmart. Editing a 10k lease agreement from English into Spanish for the US market. Subtitling Forex trading again, this time dealing with cryptocurrencies. I might just become a pro very soon! 160 minutes of educational science videos for elementary school children.
Subtitling another FOREX training video. A bit technical, but extremely interesting! Lease agreement from Portuguese into Spanish. Working from Brasilia! This variety is making life fun: First aid course, car repair tutorials, car racing documentary, Bitcoin education... and so much more!

Recently worked on a Death Certificate and Certificate of Succession. #Legal EN-ESL Elementary school announcement. Used SmartCat, made it a breeze! Translation and localisation of a sleeping app... I'm tempted to download it!
General Power of Attorney from Spanish into English.
My favourite project of 2018 was interpreting several press conferences at the U17 Women's World Cup, held in Uruguay. It was an absolute blast, and an inspiration to see these young girls leave it all out on the pitch! 1 user |
