I know not everyone looks at the News items on the site but, since international payments are regularly discussed in this forum, I thought I would draw readers' attention to the item about TranslatorPay posted this week by Romina (a ProZ.com staff member):

That seems to be exactly what we need! I really hope it lives up to its promises and isn't hiding a lot of drawbacks.

As translators, we're often the smallest of companies, yet we often export pretty much 100% of our services. Personally, I've never, ever worked with a Spanish client! We really aren't geared up for international finances, but that's the world we have to survive in. Any help geared towards us is really welcome.

I'll be watching this with great hopes. Thanks for the heads-up, Russell.

Two days ago I asked them whether I could use their services being in Lithuania. Still no answer...

For Lithuania this system so far is useless May 12, 2013

Two months passed but I still haven't received any reply from TranslatorPay therefore I consider their support team to be a poor one.

I have discovered MYSELF that for some reason Lithuania is not among the countries supported by TranslatorPay. So for my country this system so far is useless.
