Raimondas, I am very well aware of the difference. Which is why I said "tiekimo = supply of services/works; teikimo = supply of goods." It would not be appropriate to artificially split "supply" just because there are two different verbs in Lithuanian. Especially so given that the typical usage is: contract/subcontractor agreement for [insert] (services/goods/works). In that context, tiekimas/teikimas becomes irrelevant since the contract/agreeemnt is "for waste collection services", etc. (you normally skip "the provision/supply of"). Used in a standalone situation, public procurement consists of "contracts for services/works/goods" (a three-way distinction unlike the LT two-way distinction). Finally, within the same text you would use either "supply" or "provision" for all types of contracts.

neutral Raimondas Lipinskas : I did some research on the internet and checked some dictionaries and it seems like it is perfectly fine to use "sub-contract" as a noun. I think it is just your impression that "sub-contract" is used as a verb only.

subcontractor agreement for services

I believe the asker is aware of the term "subcontract" and is asking for the distinction between a teikimo and a tiekimo agreement. In English, especially the EU type, you would divide public procurement into contracts for goods, works and services. They can usually be sucontracted through a subcontractor agreement. The asker's main question (NB only one question allowed per Kudoz request) is about tiekimas. As you would tiekti services (also works), the English equivalent of "(paslaugu) subteikimo sutaris" would be "subcontractor agreement for services". Or if the source has specific services or works enumerated, then you would most likely see "sucontractor agreement for [specifing thing/specific thing services/specific thing works]". The "teikimas" itself should properly be ommited in the title.

disagree The LT>EN Guy : Same comment as for Gintautas. Also, in the legal/procurement context, it completely OK to "supply" everything. Therefore: tiekimo = supply of services/works; teikimo = supply of goods. And you would often skip the "services" etc. if they are specified.

I think you totally miss the difference between "tiekimo" and "teikimo": "tiekti prekes, produktus, medžiagas, etc.", bet "teikti paslaugas". That is the only reason why there are two different terms - "subtiekimo sutartis" and "subteikimo sutartis",
