Italian term

soglia minima di visibilità raggiunta

Italian to English Other Telecom(munications)
A nostro avviso Studio Aperto fissa ad un livello piuttosto alto la soglia minima di visibilità raggiunta dalla sequenza sui notiziari considerati.

Out of the newscasts taken into consideration, it is our opinion that Studio Aperto sets the minimum attained visibility threshold for the chain of events rather high.

??

PS- Sequenza here is referring to the sequence of events surrounding Berlusconi's most recent bribery/menacing scandal trying to get AnnoZero off the air.

minimum-audience level threshold met

My rough translation:

"In our opinion, of the news programs on the issue considered, 'Studio Aperto' set a rather high minimum-audience level threshold met."

It's not clear to me, by the use of 'fissa' if 'Studio Aperto' established for themselves this limit, or managed to arrive to this limit.

[If they don't meet this limit - they 'scratch' in broadcast jargon (see below).]

I left 'level' in - even though 'threshold' is a level - to be closer to the original Italian. It could be deleted.
