Seems pretty clear that this is the length of time of the calls in minutes, or hours and minutes, probably as a total rather than the length of each individual call.

Il traducente appropriato, che io non sono in grado di indicare, è lo stesso che andrebbe usato per descrivere il Δ(T) in un grafico che portasse il tempo su una delle sue coordinate (solitamente x)

D'altronde stiamo parlando di "proiezioni di spesa".
Al Sony difficilmente interessa sapere quale sarà la spesa per "i prossimi 3.000.000 di minuti di telefonate" quanto piuttosto, per "il semestre/l'anno prossimo". Di solito queste proiezioni si realizzano analizzando il pregresso su lassi di tempo tali da poter essere considerati attendibili in statistica.
