I am having a hard time understanding what "contenuti" means in this context. I translated it as MMS contents, but that doesn't make sense to me. MMS is Multimedia Messaging Service, similar to SMS and I can't figure out where contents comes in. I could see maybe "symbols"? Would this be better than content?

I work quite regularly in this field, and I have only ever seen it used in the singular.
