the stern foil

from your other post, I have deduced that the craft is a hydrofoil.
Note from asker:
Could you explain why, please? I'm not an expert on hydrofoils.
Yes, Tom, you're quite right - it is a hydrofoil. I went for "aft foil" as it gets more Google hits.

astern wing

the phrase does not make sense as the wings are usually on the bridge: one to left (port) and one to right (starboard). Poppiera is towards the stern or aft and mostly called astern.

This is the translation
Note from asker:
Thanks very much. Actually we wouldn't say "astern wing" (you could say the wing is astern), but your mention of the word aft got me searching again, and I came up with aft wing, which I think is the correct term: "The areas under the tween deck are called the wings. A wing on the left side of a ship is called a port wing and on the right side it is a starboard wing. The wing toward the bow is the forward wing and the wing toward the rear or stern of the ship is the aft wing." http://www.globalsecurity.org/military/library/policy/army/fm/55-17/ch2.htm So you helped me to find what I think is the correct the answer -thanks.
Hi Earnest - I'm sorry, I didn't realize the vessel was a hydrofoil. I think "stern wing" would have been correct in a non-hydrofoil context, but not here. But thanks very much.
