This little abbreviation is in a list of a patient's discharge medications. There is a long list (unfortunately) of two columns of medications. The first list looks like the generic name of the drug itself, and the second list looks like the commercial or brand name, for example:
Carvodilolo 25 mg *Es.* Dilatrend 25
Spironolattone 100 mg *Es.* Aldactone 100
Digossino *Es.* Lanoxin
And so on. The "Es." is always in the second column, for each of the 12 medications listed.
What is the word that "Es." abbreviates here?
