The article describes a case of 19 year old man with an osteoid osteoma on the talar neck treated with arthroscopic removal. A sample of the nidus was excised by a CAROTATORE and sent for the histological examination; the rest of the lesion was removed by motorized shaver. Postoperatively the patient had an immediately relief of pain and there are not recurrence at 28 months follow up.
