I'm translating the programme for a conference in the multimedia field which includes seminars publicised as the "consolidato fulcro di aggiornamento professionale", can anyone think of a "neat" way of translating "aggiornamento professionale"? Thanks in advance, Sarah

Comment: "Thanks Vittorio for the rapid response, but I can't use the word "course" as these are peer group forum type seminars in which information is exchanged rather than taught"

professional development
