This is described as a "motor pump" but I'm not sure whether there's a more technical term. Can it be more accurately termed a "diaphragm pump"?

Libellula is a name as far as I see from the English website of this Company (http://www.caffinipumps.it/english/s-membra.htm).
By the way, it is used to indicate a "self-priming diaphragm pump".

Ho fatto qualche altra ricerca...
Apparentemente, la parola Libellula legata a pompe è presente solo parlando della società Caffini.
In questo sito, http://www.bouwpompen.nl/data/987.pdf, che non è Caffini, ho trovato un PDF trilingue che fa proprio rif alle pompe Libellula caffini.
Dovrebbe quindi essere il nome della pompa...
