Progettata dall’architetto Giacomo della Porta agli inizi del XVII secolo e condotta a termine dagli architetti Carlo Maderno e Giovanni Fontana entro il 1621, la villa consta di un’imponente costruzione di quattro piani – con altana su due – contraddistinta da una severa facciata rivolta sulla piana verso Roma e da un corpo centrale a logge sovrapposte impostate su "serliane" – avanzato rispetto al filo dell’edificio – nel lato rivolto verso meridione.

in architecture, a serliana is a particular type of window whose origins are attributed to Serlio. It is normally not translated, but referred to as a serliana.
I have never seen an English translation and I don't believe one exists.
Possibly, a "serlian window" but that's ugly and it might be an opening, not a window.
