Italian term

rimanno dint a na scatola

Italian to English Art/Literary General / Conversation / Greetings / Letters Neapolitan dialect
From a screenplay. I understand the literal meaning but not sure what it means in this context.

Vassily, a Russian gangster has sent his man, Sergei, to threaten an Italian gang boss, but the boss (and his henchman Paolo), have turned the tables on the thug.

Gennaro lascia la presa, Sergei si volta, Paolo lo tiene sotto
il tiro della sua pistola.

GENNARO
Mò te ce rimanno dint a na scatola
addo Vassily... accussì o verimm
si capisce!

Il russo, affatto impaurito, punta un dito contro Gennaro, con il suo sorriso freddo.

I'll send you back (to Vassily) in a (wooden) box

The "wooden box" is obviously a coffin/casket. I guess you don't need the implications spelled out... 8-)

agree Thomas Preo : I think there is no need to specify "wooden", as in the context would make it needlessly cumbersome

I'll send you back in a box

This is Neopolitan dialect, a Southern Italian dialect. And I agree it means a coffin literally a" wooden box"
