Italian term

FERS

Italian to English Science Fisheries EU policy
This is from a document describing EU fisheries policies:

"Tali interventi, di tipo ambientale infrastrutturale, non sono legati direttamente ad attività produttive e trovano soluzione nel quadro della complementarietà con altri Fondi strutturali, in particolare con il FEASR e FERS."

I have a feeling its one of the EU development funds, but which one?

Discussion

Rachel Fell Jun 23, 2009:
Yes, that's what I thought, but... don't know why (or there is the Federazione Europea Ricercatori Subacquei...) - you can find it as FESR in IATE, so not sure which is right.
achisholm (asker) Jun 23, 2009:
However, I see from various web searches that this is the acronym used - many thanks.
achisholm (asker) Jun 23, 2009:
I thought of that, but ... the letters in the acronym don't match the description.
Rosa Cabral Jun 23, 2009:
FERS Fondo Europeo di Sviluppo Regionale (FERS)

Rachel: Yes, I have that cat but that picture is one I got off the internet... mine is uhm... a little overweight. She is 13.5 pounds of love and affection on her terms! They say these cats don't meow much but you should hear her when she is hungry!!!!!!
