Today IAS 29, just uses the word "Provisions" and that is what I find on US balance sheets.
However worldwide, risk and charges is very common, where does it come from?
A look down here shows lots of Italian firms, which is why I always thought it was a literal tran of rischi e oneri, and to be avoided.
