Italian to English Tech/Engineering Engineering (general) design (furniture)

I think that it means each module (an office cabinet) can be arranged (by the client) by using (or adjusting) the elements of the cabinet's construction and its design details, which are (themselves) meant to increase the space, etc. Something like that. Any help reformulating it in a way that can be printed on a company catalogue for their office furniture? Here's the context/phrase in question:

"Ogni modulo contenitivo può essere declinato secondo elementi e dettagli costruttivi volti ad aumentare lo spazio disponibile alla postazione di lavoro."

My attempt so far doesn't convey the idea clearly.

"Each storage module can be arranged according to its contstruction elements and details designed to increase the space available to the workstation."
