In the glossaries here we have "boil under reflux" so perhaps "cool under reflux" - but the "collegato a smeriglio" also has me baffled.

Although it’s not mentioned, I assume this is related to the coolant liquid used to cool the grinding tool of a grinder machine which always have a device dripping or spraying a coolant liquid directly over the grinding disk to avoid overheating of the disk and the material being processed.
