This is for a press release for a sofa designed by a car maker. I've provided a few suggestions as for an albeit loose translation for the phrase "trattamento dei volumi" but the client hasn't liked them. Seeing as though this isn't a simple translation but rather a concept to express, I'm hoping someone else may have a solution to lend me... thanks so much in advance!!

Note: "trattamento dei volumi" is it's own heading, and it does not refer to cars (like macchina 2 volumi, etc.) but the sofa's design

fluidità, ispirate al trattamento scultoreo della linea XX. Una sorta di carrozzeria sospesa, lavorata
come una speed form.
