Saya pikir "intelijen keamanan" adalah salah satu matra (dimensi) dari intelijen, khusus berfokus pada keamanan dalam negeri. Oleh karena itu, "security intelligence" atau bahkan "internal security intelligence". Ini biasanya dimiliki kepolisian. Matra lain antara lain "military intelligence" dan "counter-intelligence".
