Overview
The RKM (River Kilometer) table in the PTAGIS database is used as a reference source by PTAGIS clientele, and as a validation source by database server processes and the proprietary PTAGIS data entry software programs. The RKM table contains the definitions for all locations associated with current tagging, release, recapture, and mortality events. The RKM table currently contains no location definitions for PIT tag interrogation sites. The first entries in the RKM table are dated ‘March 01 1994’. As of January 6, 2004, the table contains 578 entries; 129 of these are from the original table creation; the remaining 449 records have been subsequently modified or appended. The table structure is shown below.
