German term

brennendes Abtropfen/Abfallen

German to French Tech/Engineering Materials (Plastics, Ceramics, etc.)

merci!
agree Johannes Gleim : müßte man irgendwie umschreiben.

Six of the classifications relate to materials commonly used in manufacturing enclosures, structural parts and insulators found in consumer electronic products (5VA, 5VB, V-0, V-1, V-2, HB).

Criteria is e.g. whether burning drops ignites cotton below the probe and the extinguishing time. Myself, I conducted such testing.
