- Un camion remorque is a " semi trailer"
- Un camion porteur (what you call a solid truck) is a "truck or lorry" and sometimes called trailer (US) and I agree "trailer" is not a "pure" translation for "porteur". A truck (porteur) is made of just one part.
- Also wrongly used, "tilt". The right translation is "covered truck/lorry" for "camion bâché".
- A tautliner is "un camion à rideaux coulissant" which is different as "un camion bâché".

: But a 'porteur' is an actual truck, not just a trailer / Yes, but here it's clear they're making a distinction between semis and rigid trucks.

Trailer/truck/lorry is a generic term for "porteur".
