Hello,
I'm translating a ladies clothing catalogue and am stuck on encolure remaillée. Have searched the net and found various images but no definitive translation. Thanks for any suggestions!

over-stitched neckline
I found a very few hits for this, and a number of images, but I am neither sure of the term itself, nor if it is in fact the same thing anyway.

I've come across 'recousu' (socks) for which I've used 'oversewn', but here I believe it is more knitting stitches, hence 'maille' > 'remaillée', which is what gave me the idea for 'stitched'. Hope you get to the bottom of it OK!

Note from asker:
Think it might be, tried oversewn neckline myself but your suggestion seems to get more hits. Thanks! |

beautifully hand-finished neckline
I think that hand-finished also indicates that the collar was "over-stitched" or "oversewn".
