Depuis le 01 janvier 2013 , les Conservations des Hypothèques sont remplacées par des Services de la publicité foncière.
Les services chargés de la publicité foncière auront exactement les mêmes attributions qu'anciennement les Conservations des Hypothèques.

Cadastre
Le cadastre de France est un ensemble de plans et fichiers administratifs qui recense toutes les propriétés immobilières situées dans chaque commune française, et qui en consigne leur valeur afin de servir de base de calcul à certains impôts.
Afin de remédier aux injustices fiscales de l'Ancien Régime, le cadastre a été réalisé pour l'ensemble du territoire national dans la première moitié du XIXe siècle, et on qualifie ce cadastre de « napoléonien ».
La plupart des communes ont vu leur cadastre rénové une ou plusieurs fois depuis le début du XIXe siècle.

thanks, many users of this site seem to confuse these 2 separate services, one of them is Napoleonic the other is relatively modern
